✩ New Chinese Prince of Tennis ep 16 sub out from DoReMii! Mine is still downloading so expect flail after I've watched it. Okay, maybe a little bit now: *flail*

✩ I'm sure you've all seen the scanlations for shin tenipuri 19 & 20 by now. All I have to add is I'm still loving the crack oh-so-very much and I'm in fucking Data Pair Paradise.

✩ I've only just begun my Harry Potter re-read and already the fic ideas are coming back to me. That canon has such incredible scope -- I hope I follow through and get some writing done there. (Maybe that one H/D story I tried and tried and tried to write but couldn't.) It's giving me such a warm fuzzy feeling to revisit the canon.

✩ I have figured out A Plan re LJ/DW now. LJ is my home base. I'm reading everyone here except for a tiny handful of journals I'm following on DW. If I try to follow any more there, I'll get too fragmented and just give up. I'm going to cross-post everything except: fic, which I'll link up from DW; locked entries, which I hardly ever make; posts I make from my iPhone that I'm too lazy to cross-post later, which are probably not that interesting anyhow. Comments will be directed back to LJ.

✩ I've been re-watching Ouran High School Host Club since seeing that YouTube PoT parody vid last week. I'd forgotten just how good it is. And how all the stuff with Hikaru and Kaoru makes me hurt. In a good way.

So, yesterday was kind of crappy and I was tired and cranky and I got home feeling blah and there was the new episode! It cheered me up immensely. This was the first episode I haven't already watched raw so it was extra exciting. I just loved the whole thing so hard.

First item of note: Hai Tang is the most flirty minx possible! ( dear god )

Second item of note: Hai Tang may flirt with Wei Ming, Cheng Wu, Guo Guang, and anything else in pants, but his heart clearly belongs to Zhen Zhi. ( true love )

Third item of note: Qu Ji Ping [Tachibana] is damn hot. ( tasty )

Fourth item of note: "There are many things that are more important than a match." ( for instance )

Fifth item of note: Guo Guang is in Toastmasters. ( etc )

» I have actually outlined my santa_smex fic after what was probably the most angst and whining ever over a story. And I even have a plan B if the first story tanks. Now I just have to, you know, write it.

» I may have been rewatching the subbed episodes of the PoT Chinese drama yet again and I've been thinking the main reason Hai Tang (Kaidoh) is so upset about Long Ma (Ryoma) joining the team is that up until now Hai Tang has been the indulged problem child of the team, with everyone paying constant attention to him to try to keep him out of trouble. And now here's a younger, more troublesome child who's better at tennis into the bargain. No doubt he's scared that Daddy Guo Guang (Tezuka) isn't going to love him any more. Personally, I don't think Daddy will ever stop loving Hai Tang, but it does explain a lot.

Seriously, I'm always surprised by the latitutde Guo Guang gives Hai Tang before he yanks him back. (With love, of course.) And even if Daddy is busy with other things, Zhen Zhi (Inui) will always be there for Hai Tang. With his sad, pretty eyes. No wonder I'm having so much trouble with my smex story -- all I can think about is their love triangle.

» In our PoT anime re-watch, the Boy and I are up to the training camp, which has so much cute stuff. Even the bear episode is now just amusing to me. I'd completely forgotten that it was Kaidoh who suggested they use their special moves against the bear. Damn, that was so cute. Also, I think Inui is paying way too much attention to training because he has completely failed to notice how much attention Momo is paying to Kaidoh. Another of my beloved triangles. ♥
