santa_smex fic after what was probably the most angst and whining ever over a story. And I even have a plan B if the first story tanks. Now I just have to, you know, write it.
» I may have been rewatching the subbed episodes of the PoT Chinese drama yet again and I've been thinking the main reason Hai Tang (Kaidoh) is so upset about Long Ma (Ryoma) joining the team is that up until now Hai Tang has been the indulged problem child of the team, with everyone paying constant attention to him to try to keep him out of trouble. And now here's a younger, more troublesome child who's better at tennis into the bargain. No doubt he's scared thatDaddy Guo Guang (Tezuka) isn't going to love him any more. Personally, I don't think Daddy will ever stop loving Hai Tang, but it does explain a lot.
Seriously, I'm always surprised by the latitutde Guo Guang gives Hai Tang before he yanks him back. (With love, of course.) And even if Daddy is busy with other things, Zhen Zhi (Inui) will always be there for Hai Tang. With his sad, pretty eyes. No wonder I'm having so much trouble with my smex story -- all I can think about is their love triangle.
» In our PoT anime re-watch, the Boy and I are up to the training camp, which has so much cute stuff. Even the bear episode is now just amusing to me. I'd completely forgotten that it was Kaidoh who suggested they use their special moves against the bear. Damn, that was so cute. Also, I think Inui is paying way too much attention to training because he has completely failed to notice how much attention Momo is paying to Kaidoh. Another of my beloved triangles. ♥

PoT keeps having the best fillers I have ever seen. Even when the plot is silly, there are always so many fun details with at least some of the characters. I have been rewatching fillers here and there these past weeks and they are so much LOVE.

um, you've been warned. just keep in mind it has nothing to do with the legend and that Arthur is probably shagging everyone and it is all good.
and I personally believe everyone will always love Kaidoh. although referring to Tezuka/ Guo Guang as Daddy is a a little creepy (accurate, but creepy). One day I will break down and watch this. Although are you getting it through torrent? jdramas and mysoju only have like 1 or 2 episodes available.

Really, I would never refer to Tezuka as Daddy, only Guo Guang. Because he SO IS Hai Tang's daddy.
There are two different sub groups. The 2 eps on d-addicts use the Chinese names and DVD source. The eps here (http://community.livejournal.com/dramapuri/1557.html) use Japanese names and LQ source, but they are up to 5 so far. I watch both, because I'm obsessed like that. I also have all the LQ raws, but I haven't watched more than a few past the subs so far.

Ah. cool. I will checkout the drampuri, although it seems confusing if they are using the Japanese names without hearing them.

I find that the Japanese names help work out who is who at first. But I prefer the Chinese names because the characterization is different enough that it makes it easier to differentiate.

(It's basically where Smallville and Harry Potter had a big messy threeway w/ Arthurian Legend and splattered their slashtastic, anachronistic load all over its precious face)
And as slashtastic as the pilot is, hoooo boy, does it get gaytastiker. Just make sure to take off your logic and your historical accuracy caps and roll around in the silly, goofy, pretty eyefucking.
