Dec. 8th, 2005 11:47 amLast night I was reading fic about my new OTP in my new fandom. My stomach was all butterflies and I felt all excited and happy and sad and buzzy, just thinking about them. And it hit me:
This is how I get to have my long-term relationship and still fall in love.
It's not the only reason I'm in fandom and it's not the only reason I write and read fic. But, oh, it's a big one. I get to have all the fun, fun feelings of infatuation without the messy RL implications.
Is it like that for you?
