I've been trying for fifteen minutes to write something more about why you should read this, about the quiet mood and the beautiful prose, but, as always, when faced by one of kormantic's stories, words fail me.

If you have read The Dark Is Rising, then you should read this story. It's as simple as that.

Spring cleaning

I took a few people and comms off my reading list just now -- mostly because they brought thoughtful and interesting content to my flist that I have no time to read, let alone comment on. I'm sad, I know. I don't think I removed anyone who had also friended me -- at least I didn't mean to. If I did, comment so I can add you back.

I'm trying to make sure I don't spend too much of my time on fandom, but it's not working out too well. *g* Since my primary ID is fangirl, that's great up to a point. But I've got to find a way to balance RL friends, my gaming, and, oh, say, working on my career as well.

What I really need is a sugar daddy. Also a way to reconcile the Boy to the fact that I have a sugar daddy. Actually, we both need one.

Also: I love my new Billy Talent album.

ETA: I just thought I'd remind you that you should feel free to remove me from your reading list at any time, without worrying about hurting my feelings. Except for widget285. That's because one time I had a dream that widget285 defriended me and I wrote her a tearstained email saying It's OK *sob* that you took me off your *gulp* list, but could you just *wail* tell me why? So, widget285, you're stuck with me. But the rest of you -- defriend with impunity.
