Okay, so - who's this one you put up as Bellatrix?

Juliet Landau. She's primarily known in fandom for playing Drusilla, a vampire, on Buffy.

And Rickman is the only man on the planet I fancy, so anybody anybody saying he'd too old, I have to disagree.

Hee! I don't think anyone's saying he's too old to fancy. :) Just that Snape is in his early-to-mid thirties during the books and Rickman is over 50.

That's true - Rickman turns 58 the 21st of Februari, if I'm not mistaken. :)
