Oh, poor Harry! Ahahahahahaha! Like, I have no words. Why would Hermione expect something like that from Harry? Does she think Harry is gayer than Ron? Or parhaps there's some ancient prophecy prophesying that Harry will fall in love with a Death Eater? Or that, with Harry's penchant for getting into trouble, he'd be much more likely to fall in love with a Malfoy than a nice, oh I dunno, Longbottom, perhaps? You must share the link. There must be some method to this madness.

Hmm, I kind of do think Harry is gayer than Ron. :) Hermione didn't mention any prophecies, so I don't think that was it. *g*

I kind of do think Harry is gayer than Ron.

Oh yes. Though I can very easily believe in Ron having a crush on Harry in their first several years at Hogwarts, and Harry being too clueless to understand what was going on. But Harry/Ron doesn't really work for me once they get older, and I think Ron's lack of gayness is the problem.

And I think I might need to read that fic, too. The "Harry, maybe" line is terrific.

Yeah, Ron with the young mostly-straight friend crush I can buy. But later Harry/Ron just doesn't work for me.

Possibly Ron's heterosexuality is what makes Draco/Ron so hot. *g*

I was reading another rather bad D/R on ff.n yesterday and I think it gave me another kink: Harry-Draco friendship. They were buds and Harry was trying to help Draco get Ron. It was sweet.
