Hi, sorry this is off topic, but I was wondering if you could help me. I'm trying to buy a present for a friend who likes books, and your earlier recommendations have been excellent: I've got her Temple Grandin's Animals in Translation and Richard Nisbett's Geography of Thought and she loved both of them. Would you happen to have any other recommendations? Brains and feminism would be good subjects, but I'd love to hear about any other books you think of.
I hope this is not a bother. I've sent you feedback before for your TezuRyo stories so I'm not a crazy stalker. I hope. :) Anyway, thanks for recommending those books earlier; I have a hard time buying presents and those were just perfect.
I hope this isn't too late. I'm glad to hear your friend enjoyed those books! They're both excellent.
If she hasn't already read it, I'd highly recommend Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond. (Really, I think everyone should read that one.) A good brain book is The Power of Persuasion: How We're Bought and Sold by Robert V. Levine.
