ε pixxers, I'm so sorry I haven't got to your site stuff like I said I would. My brain has seriously been pudding and I feel like I'm in a different dimension when I'm out here. (Possibly a dimension without caffeine.)

ζ I did manage to start my santa_smex story, though. Just the first scene, but that always feels like breaking a seal or pulling a cork. If I write some every day, I should have no problem getting it finished. I've really been looking forward to wirting this one. Or having it written, anyhow.

η I have my icon all ready for GP Fortnight. I'm willing to be convinced.

θ To stay sane and pass the time this weekend, I watched the Prince of Tennis movie with the subs. A few things come to mind:
* Kaidoh is really hot.
* I don't know which I liked better: the RyoKai, MomoKai, or InuKai.
* The movie follows the usual shounen sports arc much more closely than the manga or anime. The strong focus is on Ryoma's growth into a team player and there's nothing about his extraordinary potential. Tezuka wants to go to Nationals, Ryoma is the key to that, Tezuka trains up Ryoma for that purpose. And Ryoma makes out with Kaidoh learns the meaning of sportsmanship. It's so familiar and yet so odd at the same time.
* Is there any Higaki/Tezuka porn?

ι If I could have one wish, it would be for a new standard pairings prom story in the PoT section of ff.n. Or a standard pairings reunion story. There's been a real lack of standard pairings fic lately and I really need some.

Emphasis on "standard pairings". TezuFuji, InuKai, Golden Pair, and MomoRyo with poor dear Kawamura got rid of in some fashion: girlfriend, Akutsu, working for his dad, hit by a train, etc. I'm a sucker for standard pairings badfic and prom stories are my especial favourite, with renuions a close second.

hehe, the ongoing quest for "badfic"--:D :D :D I love those. And so fitting in the sense of "badfic" (though I wonder about this apellage) tossing in an American prom into a non-prom Japan. Reunions though, all contained middle-aged Murakami-esque, might drag it kicking and screaming out of badficdom. Sad. But that's just wrong-er. hahahaha.

I'm starting to get paranoid right now. This post on finalauraburst says that they've released it but there's no notice on TV Nihon's page and no torrent and no entry in the forums.

THEY MUST HAVE RELEASED IT ON IRC WITH INSTRUCTIONS NOT TO TELL YOU AND ME AND I BET YOU ACTUALLY ALREADY HAVE IT AND ARE JUST TAUNTING ME.

Though I guess three new episodes of Kabuto will comfort me. :)

At this point, I should be able to take a look at the site stuff tomorrow. (I have so much client work to get through today. After my second cup of REAL ACTUAL coffee.)

Fuji and Taka-san were just darling in the movie. Everyone was, really. (When I managed to pay attention to anyone besides Kaidoh.)

I'd love to write some RyoKai as well but, my god, they are so hard to get together. Whenever I try, they just end up playing tennis and skipping the sex. And I find sex easier to write than tennis.

GP fortnight?

You know, I'm seeing more of the GP slashiness now. I think they're bonded somewhat, just without all the little superficial details. Like, I don't think they hang out, but go to each other for the important stuff.

I hear rumours that some GP fans plan a two week GP booster session. So I'm all fired up to be convinced of their love. :)

I don't see them as such an obvious pair and I've never really found them interesting, but I think they *could* be, which is why I'm looking forward to seeing them pimped. And I do like a bit of GP flavour in my TezuOishi sometimes, for ouchy triangle goodness.

I've read several, but of course I didn't save the links. :( Actually, I just started one (reading, not writing *g*) called "Seigaku Prom" but it's RyoSaku, not standard pairings. Still, I do love a good RyoSaku fic. Especially if Ryoma plays the guitar and sings.

I've been waiting to see if GP Fortnight would sway me. I think I most need to be shown how their relationship is interesting; I find them pretty bland together. But I'm open to see more. :) I've only written them twice, really.

I feel a little guilty that so many of my WIPs are MomoKai when InuKai is really my favourite pairing. But MK is more fun to write. ♥

And I remember you from before! I'm glad you're still around. :) This fandom gets hold of you and you can never get away.

To be honest, I can't imagine not finding the Golden Pair interesting. But, that's fangirlism for you. ♥ I mean, there are tons of pairings other people love that I just don't get. :D

Hee, I'm not actually a fan of InuKai. I read yours, but that's it. MomoKai is just much more...er, exciting? to me. I love Inui, but I just see the Inui/Kaidoh dynamic a bit differently, I guess. Plus, Momo and Kaidoh are just so much fun together. ♥

Yay, I was remembered! And, heheh, as they say, truer words were never spoken -- but I love this fandom too much to actually try to get away. :)
