This was such a manic episode. I loved the beginning, poor Mickey standing alone as the box disappears and inside, Rose so excited to be gone.

Rose and Ten are so sparky, sparky, sparky! It's hard to get a good sense of their interaction considering they spent most of the ep apart or possessed, but I'm thinking good, good thoughts.

Zoë Wanamaker is always, always fabulous. I want to have her ~~babies~~.

The hospital was gorgeous and the readouts by each bed looked like giant iPods. The cat-nurse-nun sitting with the Face of Bo was really hot. And the design of Intensive Care -- that whole Matrix effect -- also great.

Just such a fun outing. Action, action, action, great character moments. I thought both BP and DT did a great job channelling ZW. And what a lovely way to end things. Maybe a touch too heartwarming, but right now I don't care. My heart is warmed. I am happy.

I loved Tennant! I loved Ecclestone too - there's nothing to choose between them but they're so different. I thought Tennant was fabulous and I think kids will particularly love him. I thought there was far more sparkage between Ten/Rose than between Nine/Rose. Yay - DW is back!

Wasn't it great. BP was just excellent. I'm consistently amazed by what a good actress she is.

And David Tennent! I adore him. I take back everything I said when I found out he was taking over from Chris Ecclestone.

I did think the resolution was a bit rushed and WTF?ish. I mean really, pouring intravenous drugs on people makes them better?

The BBC showed a 'making off' thing after the show and the rest of the season looks fantastic!

It was just amazing! And the resolution didn't bother me -- that far in the future, anything is possible.

I'm so pleased with DT. I wasn't sure after the Christmas Invasion, but he's won me over entirely.

You have inspired me to hunt down a download. :D It'll be a very long time before this shows up on our screens, and I have agreat love for David Tennant, irrespective of his Whoian merits.

Excellent! It's just such big bright fun. And DT was just great.

I'm still largely at the "squee, Doctor Who!" stage, but there was indeed much to love about this episode. And I'm already totally sold on DT :-))

And my admiration for BP's acting just keeps rising.

This is one of the few shows where I have a genuine adoration for the canon(ish) het ship and I'm so pleased to find Ten/Rose so darned sparky and shippy :-)

You know, I love how G-rated their love is. I mean, the love just shoots out of every pore on them, the way they smile at each other, the way holding hands and being snarky is just the best darned thing ever, and it's like a grade-school crush or something. I don't know if I could bear it if they ever loved each other like grown-ups (though I'm very happy to read smutty fic about it *g*).

I was very pleased to see Billie Piper hold her own in this episode. I had a blast watching her channeling Cassandra.
