Dear Fandom,

Thank you for being such a cool place. I'm going through some real stress right now over work-related matters and it's so nice to have a place to come to that's just fun and friendly and full of shiny.

Everyone who posts, who comments, who sends feedback, everyone who writes stories, creates art, makes vids, who takes the time to engage with people who do, everyone who squees, everyone who discusses, wherever your interests lie, I love you so much right now.

I continue to feel for you re your work situation. It sounds just ghastly. I wish there was more I could do than just be here and think of you.

There may yet be things that you can do. I'll keep you posted on the situation. I decided I should try to use my accrued vac time now, so I'm going to take Wednesdays off until I have. That should give me some time for making plans and updating my site and stuff.

also, i was thinking it would be funny to ask our flists to nominate songs for the AftS OP and ED, and then we could like have a poll-off or just decide ourselves or some combination. My flist has a lot of good shit, and yours probably does too.

Media section! I'm not sure I could *tell* cute from psychotic. I like the OP/ED idea. Let's do that after I've got the names and write-ups finished. I've made enough progress to be able to tell you that Misaki's name is Tatsuya. :)

I'm having the most trouble with Sato and Tsukada. They must have perfect names, Sato, because he's my favourite. (A given, since he's the GK.) And Tsukada because the tragic figure of the player-coach demands something appropriately noble. Or something.

speaking of my brain, during class today i told the class i cut my thumb in a heinous manner, and they all went O.O and finally one boy said "did you just say...penis manner?" and i said "NO NO HEINOUS NOBODY WRITE THAT ON YOUR TEST" because i'm pretty sure that isn't what i said. Mostly.

Tatsuya! I like it! makes me think of the shady brother from Gravitation. He's been underwritten, I feel, I should work on that.

Coming up with the perfect name is rough stuff, which is why we left those boys to you. Both of them, but Sato in particular, seem like they ought to be sort of short and no nonense, kind of bordering on bland? maybe one of the lesser-syllable names like Ken or Ban, or...now i'm actually just picturing atobe again. *sighs happily*

But then again, i can think of a few reasonably non-flashy multi-syllable names too, like Junta or something, so i'm being completely unhelpful. *g* whatever you like, sweetie. There's always Kouhei.

As for the blurbs, hee, take as long as you like, but they don't have to be stellar. Asakawa's working profile in my mind is "Asakawa is the team's drippiest uke. He's on his knees for lacrosse! Ganbatte, Asakawa-kun!"

so you know, next to what i've got, whatever you slap down will be genius.
