I don't usually make posts like this, but I'm driven to extremes. I'm at work and I have nothing to do. It has been days since I had a significant amount of work to do. I'm beaten down by the tedium. My brain is dying. My god, I'm even starting to read the comments on Slashdot.

Please help. Tell me something interesting. Tell me something boring. Ask me a question. Give me an opinion. Tell me your plan to survive avian flu. Complain about me. Sympathise with me. Flame me! Anything to let me know I'm still alive. (Until the avian flu gets me, of course.)

I know. I refuse to acknowledge the last season of the show so I can still pretend he's off somewhere doing cool useful things, and, y'know, has a face. I actually had a half-backed outline of a epic series of AU Spender/Doggett stories laying about at one time...

Y'know, Spender and Percy Weasley are an awful lot alike. Has anybody written that crossover?

Spender and Percy -- that's a good comparison. They're both doing what they think is right, and nobody seems to want to look at things from their point of view, either within the canon or within the fandom. Well, obviously some in the fandom do, but not a lot, I think.

Now I'm sighing twice as much! (But much less bored. *g*)

And, hey, even the timelines sorta work out--Season 5/6 equates to the end of HBP, I think. So if Percy should come to Washington on urgent business of the Minister and find his way into the Muggle parts of town...
