Yuletide at last
I've only spent a couple hours on Civ II today (though I did spend close to four hours in the pub -- somehow that seems less lazy, but I don't know why) and hope to get to comments and email later tonight. I've begun going through the yuletide stories finally. Wow, there's a lot of good stuff.
I'm not reading every story but I'm reading quite a few. I think I'm about 1/3 through by now. I'm commenting, rather than reccing, because I don't have the energy to do both and I'd rather send my feedback direct to the author.
But I would be remiss not to mention the lovely, lovely story written just for me: Last Shot. It's about the red-headed twins that I have long loved -- Brent and Stuart Tarleton from Gone With the Wind. Thank you again, mystery author. Sorry I inflicted such weird pairings on you -- that was the most normal of the batch, I think. :)
From an authorial POV, it's odd to have posted a story without my name on it and it makes me wonder if I'd get less or more fb if it had and then I wonder if I really want to know the answer to that. *g*
Also, from an authorial POV, the wonderful Bible-based stories have left me wanting to write some of my own. (Which tells you, I guess, that I didn't write any of those posted.) I'll add them to The List.
