In the absence of my favorite dessert category (custards and puddings), I have to go with pie, since it's possible to have a pie with custard or pudding in it.

Cake when it's cheesecake is also pretty lovely, though.

Did you have your chicken pie yet? My favourite dessert is just baked fruit (no crust) and whipped cream, but it's too warm to bake so I'm going to sautee it in butter instead. Apples and rhubarb, mmm.

P. has prepped the pie ingredients but not assembled/baked yet. I'm assured of dinner by 7pm.

I love baked fruit with cream. My fave is boozy pears, but just about any fruit does up nicely. I'm excited that stone fruits and berries will be in season soon. OM NOM NOM.

I struggled over choosing between cake and Atobe, but cake won out because I'm hungry. :(
