All my flailing impressions...

Ryoma looks so tall and grown up! Now Tezuka won't get arrested every other time they are out on a date.

Looking at the seats on the bus, I am disappointed Fuji and Kaidoh are not sitting together. No one is sitting with Kaidoh, as a matter of fact, which is probably his first choice, even if it's not ours. :(

But someone at least was wishing he could sit with Kaidoh...



They still can't keep their hands off each other. ♥

On arriving at camp, they are bullied by high schoolers into knocking over cans with tennis balls while coaches perv on them through security cameras.

WHERE IS THE FEED FOR THOSE CAMERAS?!? THERE MUST BE A PAY SITE FOR THEM. I HAVE MY CREDIT CARD OUT NOW.

"Ii data!" Inui, I want to kiss your pretty cheek!

And Kaidoh hissed! I have missed the hiss! And the Boomerang Snake! And everything about you, Kaidoh Kaoru!

Momo moons over his beloved missing Echizen which prompts Kaidoh to a jealous head toss and snort. So, which one is he jealous of?

Our heroes are not the only middle schoolers at the camp!



I was sorry, though, that they missed my favourite panel from the manga.

Inui also has acquired a date. A Data Date!



Tezuka and Ryoma have a subdued greeting, as is appropriate to their deeply passionate but somewhat forbidden love. Clearly Tezuka knew all along that Ryoma was going to be there. ♥

ALL. THE. BALLS.

I think this is why there is so little InuKai in Shin Tenipuri. :( :( :( Even all the MomoKai and Data Pair cannot heal my aching heart.

All in all, yay! I think the anime will be easier to follow than the manga in terms of keeping track of characters and following all the crazy matches. And if we're lucky, they'll slide in even more character-based crack.

OH MY SHOW NEVER LEAVE ME AGAIN!!! COUNTING THE MINUTES UNTIL NEXT WEEK!!!

Also, there is dancing over the end credits.

I'm so very tempted. I've also been out of the loop; what is the premise for Shin Tenipuri? Is it a do-over type thing?

After Nationals, all of Seigaku and lots of the rest are at the Under 17 selection camp. It's the first year middle-schooler have been allowed in. They have to complete with high schoolers and such. And there is plenty of crack. :) The manga has been running for a few years now.

Give it a try! What's the worst that could happen?

I just watched 4 or so eps of Tiger & Bunny the other day! I like it -- I will watch the rest, I think. It hasn't yet grabbed me as a fic fandom, but it may yet. :)

Ahh, so it does follow the events of the original series, and the inclusion of middle-schoolers in what used to be a high school only event means that everyone can be involved? Sounds like fun crack indeed!

T&B is a really fun show, and it took until episode 8 before Barnaby really jumped up and down on my buttons like a mofo (whereas Kotetsu was my partner's bulletproof type from day 1), but after that it kind of ate my life.

OMG !!!!! MY LOVE! It has returned! I haven't watched PoT in a while and definitely didn't keep up with the new manga at all.... idk if I will or not, but after this I am definitely entertaining the possibility if I have time!

I don't think I've stopped smiling since the first episode! MY SHOW. IS BACK. And it's making everyone excited again!

It airs on Wednesdays and Crunchyroll is simulcasting it, so that's where I'm watching, but if you don't have a paid account, there are usually rips of that available soon after. tenipuri has info for streaming and downloads, but in locked posts. And there's usually info up at princeoftennis as well.
