How to write a Kaidoh/someone or Momo/someone story

Step 1: Prevent the MomoKai

Step 2: Get the main pairing together while preventing the MomoKai

Step 3: Reinforce that the main pairing is in True Love Forever and there is NO MomoKai

Step 4: Brace for the inevitable "Loved the Sekrit MomoKai!" comments

It's that difficult, seriously. I give them boyfriends, I give them girlfriends, but to no avail. All they have to do is stand next to each other and the sparks fly and fly.

If Momo and An were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and Kaidoh and Inui were attending, having been together themselves for at least that long, and Kaidoh was the most faithful and loving and true partner of all time, and Momo was suffering from erectile disfunction, and everyone was raptly watching the cute little grandchildren sing a cute little song about how much they loved their grandparents, An would definitely have her eye on Momo and Inui would grab Kaidoh's arm very tightly because they would STILL be five seconds away from snarky sex in the bathroom.

It's like the universe righting itself. Try as meddling humans might by visiting the past and changing subtle things or accidentally shooting through black holes or creating Spam, the universe will work to heal the situation and mend things back to rightness. So it is with anyone trying to write a story in which Momo and Kaidoh do not inevitably end up have feisty boysex.

I just roll with it. I figure they're either going to make out at some point, or they already have, and either way Inui has digital video.

I go back and forcefully remove the 'sekrit' main character + other half of OTP with whom main character IS NOT together in that particular story (WHY, cruel world?!) moments. Just squash 'em and feel the burn while I do.

Unfortunately, that would include removing all moments involving Siegaku and/or tennis! I'll just have to suck it up. :D

I see nothing wrong with the MomoKai and thus do very little to stop one or the other from having it develop into seekrit locker room sexy regardless of what the story pairing should be about.

I really do like some MomoKai in my InuKai. It's one more obstacle for their True Love to overcome!

Unless there's ZOMG main pairings are in the way of Teh MomoKai D: angst in the making. In which case I'd...probably still go for it anyway. XD Er.

No matter what, whoever's left out will be pining for KK, so you just have to make it all hinge on Kaidoh, I guess? Maybe give him some very specific reason to not want to do Kaidoh. Hard, I know. :(

So very, very true. Poor Kaidoh, I think the attention makes him a bit uncomfortable. (Now Hai Tang, on the other hand...)

you cant stop the momokai from happening
that is why i usually go for the inukai but with momo secretly pining for kaidoh with kaidoh being confused and clueless and inui being possessive and protective

The MomoKai is inevitable, it's true. :) Even in InuKai, it's there lurking!
