On the subject of me
Just to say: I haven't been around much lately because work has been frantically busy and super-stressful, so that when I get home, I just kind of switch off. (Or play the Sims, which is pretty much the same thing. :D) Apologies to people for email I haven't answered and birthdays I've missed.
And today I'm leaving on a 5-day business trip! If I have decent internet access in my accommodations, I might actually catch up on LJ while I'm away. However, I'm not even sure I'll have mobile service where I'm going. (My provider is great for the major urban centres, not so much for smaller communities.) If so, I will catch up when I return.
In other news, the Boy and I finished our Prince of Tennis series re-watch. (Except for the new OVAs! The show will never end!) I don't think I had actually watched the final episode before this -- I guess I was in denial. (I'd read the end of the manga, obvs.) I love how no matter how freaked out and weird the series was, at the very climax, it falls back to the heart of a sports series: play because you love it.
I'm hoping to watch a bunch of Kamen Rider Ryuuki and Initial D while I'm away! If I don't just spend all my time re-watching the subbed dramapuri eps. :)
I hope you're all doing well! I miss you guys! ♥ ♥ ♥

Have a great trip and feel free talk about the OVAs whenever. You know, if you feel like it. At all.

I stayed home sick today and spent a lot of it playing the Sims 3, getting my pseudo-self to go to work and go the library and read a lot of books (LOL I know). I can see that, much like its predecessors, this game is going to be really, really addictive, but also an awful lot of fun. (And it's so much easier to make Sims who look like what you have in mind, or who don't look hot as teenagers but look like sideshow escapees when they grow up!)
I hope you have a nice business trip, internet or no internet, and more relaxing days to come when you get home! ♥ ♥ ♥

Sims 3 is pretty sweet. I haven't made any tennis boys yet, but I did make Ippo and Sendo from Hajime no Ippo.
I booked off the whole day on my calendar for relaxing. :)

This is totally your fault.<3I...don't quite know how, but it somehow manages to be even sparklier than I was prepared for. Truly, this is the most epic thing I shall ever encounter. I'm only on episode 13, though. But my Gyokurin boys get cuter every single time I see them, so I don't mind lingering.
Bye, Hal! I love you~♥ Be safe, but have fun, too.♥

And also, I realized that a long while back, I'd made a birthday post for you, and... I forgot to give to you. D'oh! H-here you go. MONTHS LATE. (http://kurifurinkan.livejournal.com/17206.html#cutid1)
