Kaidoh, Boys, and Blanket Forts

One day when Momo comes home early, he finds Kaidoh doing his homework in a pillows-and-blanket fort.

"I used to make those all the time." Momo gets down on his hands and knees.

"There's only room for one." Kaidoh pulls the blanket down so it's wrapped around him like a cowled robe, only his red and grouchy face still showing.

"Bet it can't withstand a siege!" Momo says and tosses pillows until Kaidoh pins him down.

One day when Fuji comes home early, he finds Kaidoh doing his homework in a pillows-and-blanket fort.

"I brought you something," Fuji says and hands it in. He squats on his heels while Kaidoh unwraps the DVD.

"Thank you," Kaidoh says, still so formally, and his eyes go soft.

"I know it's your favourite." Fuji puts it in the player. Kaidoh wraps half the blanket around Fuji's shoulders and they watch four episodes before Fuji remembers his own homework.

One day when Inui comes home early, he finds Kaidoh doing his homework in a pillows-and-blanket fort.

"I often suspected you find enclosed spaces comforting," Inui says. "Is there a particular incident that precipitated this or do you habitually work in a blanket fort?"

Kaidoh pushes his books away. "I'm finished." He gets up and folds the blanket. His hair is rumpled up and Inui smoothes it down.

"It's fine," Kaidoh says and stands close, looking up, until Inui kisses him.

One day when Ryoma comes home early, he finds Kaidoh doing his homework in a pillows-and-blanket fort.

"What's for dinner?" Ryoma says and goes off to take a bath.

There`s just something about the dynamic between Momoshiro and Kaidoh that I can`t resist, and I can`t quite figure out what it is. Maybe it`s just how it seems to make so much sense, and work so well.

It's fun looking at all the different combinations. :) I hope Kaidoh doesn't have to juggle them all at once though!

I have no words for the Inui/Kaidoh version -- I was murdered by the love before I can even think. *_________* *GETS UP AND DIES AGAIN* The way Inui touches Kaidoh... <333 So heartwarming~~

I read all 300 chapters in about a week. XD I'm going to be working on some fan art (because I feel the fandom just doesn't have enough!!) and am trying to drag more of my friends into it.

You should catch up!! Where did you leave off? I feel like the manga just keeps getting better and better and I don't want it to ever end. I'm waiting for a friend of mine to catch up a bit, then we're going to start on the anime. ES21 has made me suppress SO much noise in the time I've been reading it. I love it almost as much as PoT.
