My confession:

Today at work, I was having a terrible time with some code. There were problems with PHP and sessions and SSL and IE Win. And I struggled for a long, long time.

I had a deadline -- I needed to get the site up today, so there wasn't really time to post to a usergroup or anything.

Early on, I asked the Magic 8-Ball if I would be able to solve the problem. It is certain, the 8-Ball revealed and I took heart.

But the hours passed and I was no closer to a solution. And I despaired. What's more, I doubted the Magic 8-Ball and spoke to others of my doubt.

Within an hour, I found the solution to my problem.

I was wrong and the Magic 8-Ball was right. Forgive me, Magic 8-Ball and do not be angry with me. I will spread your word throughout LJ and RL.
