Nothing is geekier than playing Dungeons & Dragons.

Costuming is geekier.

[identity profile] longleggedgit.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I think that depends on the costume.

Now, if it was someone costuming as a D&D character . . . oi vey.

Fanfic might be geekier if it's of the 'I put on my robe and wizard hat' variety, but otherwise I adhere to D&D. :D

Geek hierarchy says that D&D and fanfic are equivalent, but slash is geekier.

Weird. Why would slash be geekier?

Well, technically it says that "erotic fanfiction" is geekier than "non-erotic fanfiction", so if you're fond of non-erotic slash that distinction won't apply.

I'd say that I'm more cautious about admitting familiarity with fanfic than with D&D in public. Of course, the fact that I'm in a dominantly-male field might skew things.

[identity profile] longleggedgit.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 06:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahhh, I see. That makes more sense then. :D

I'm the opposite, but . . . I guess I'd just rather be lumped in with the fanfic nerds than the D&D nerds. But hey, a nerd is a nerd is a nerd, right? In the end, we should really all just band together.

I don't even know Atobe, but I'm choosing sex over food this week. (:

[identity profile] hlglne.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Dammit, fanfic pwns all!

[identity profile] bloodybrilliant.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 06:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Atobe will probably HAVE the chocolate and cheese...or the means to have them with a SNAP of his skinny fingers. Or else he'll be calling for someone to take me away ;_; I WAS JUST THERE FOR THE FOOD!

[identity profile] chinawolf.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
CHEESE. Hmmm, cheese.
annotated_em: Atobe (Prince of Tennis manga), looking sultry, captioned "I am one sexy son of a bitch." (attitude)

How come there isn't an option for "all of the above" on that last question?

[identity profile] shikishi.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 09:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Gin is always classier.

[identity profile] moshesque.livejournal.com 2007-11-30 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Wait, wait, Atobe's losing in the third one? D: Clearly, people need more educating.

... how about a chocolate-covered Atobe?

[identity profile] meritjubet.livejournal.com 2007-12-01 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
I clicked Chocolate before I realised that Atobe could supply the chocolate *headdesk* fool I am!

Sign me up for Atobe providing chocolate AND cheese. (I cannot choose!)
