Ordered list of love.

  1. Birthday was a complete success! We went out to the pub with friends for the evening and had lots to drink and eat and great conversation and just so much fun. I was a bit hungover today, but not too badly. I find the most important thing for me is to eat a lot after drinking, so I made the Boy make popcorn once we got home. He's useful that way.

  2. Thank you everyone for your good wishes! I have many comments left to answer, but I'll get to them eventually.

  3. The amazing[livejournal.com profile] kestrelsan concocted Tales of Hal for me and teased me with vague hints about writing an Ash/Frohike/Hal threesome. ♥

  4. I've been smiling all day over[livejournal.com profile] for_hal! Some very wonderful friends of mine put it together with fic and art and good wishes and a few other things and you should go check it out! There's Prince of Tennis, Whistle!, South Park, and Kamen Rider Kabuto, and the layout is gorgeous and I just cannot stop smiling. Or flailing. You guys. You make me so happy. ♥

  5. I only posted one birthday story of my own this year: Always Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide (InuKai). As usual, I completely underestimated how long it would take to write, but I managed to finish it up in time for Friday morning. This was a fun one even if it did totally wig me, for the same reasons Kaidoh was wigged.

  6. I requested and received more South Park DVDs -- seasons 3-5! I ship Butters/Cartman. How about you?

  7. OMG SPN! That might be the best episode yet. I wish I'd opened some reviews in tabs to read now.

  8. I'm re-reading Gaudy Night, though I'm not quite sure why. I both love and hate that book -- so many of the characters are fascinating, but Wimsey is insufferable (probably because it's from Harriet's POV) and the mystery is a strange and unsatisfying one. However, I've never forgotten the use of the Latin enclitic -ne because of it.

  9. PoT OVA 10 & 11 are out! I'm downloading now to watch tomorrow. Torrent files: Ep 10 & Ep 11.

I'm glad you like it - I will put something up there, I've just been rendered useless this weekend.

I think I shall get my mind off it by caving and downloading raw OVAs.

To be honest, I'm not sure if I do ship Butters/Cartman or not. Butters/that irritating kid who's his destructive sidekick, maybe. And Cartman really needs a ginger to be shipped with, but not Kyle. Hm....Kyle's cousin Kyle, maybe. Bwah hah hah! ;D

I don't know what it is about Butters, but I'd pay two million dollars for him any day. :D

I don't mind Cartman playing around, but he'll always be with Butters in his heart. ♥

The OVAs are wonderful good cracktastic fun. I think they're all subbed now, except for these last two.

Hey, I was going to ask, did you find out if your laptop can read DVD-R? I think you'd really like Monster and I have a set of DVD-Rs I can send you if you can read them. It's one of the best anime series I've ever seen.

Yes... pretend away. I will be reading "Among the Thugs" , what about you? I may also be writing a crack ficlet idea I have, but maybe not. Or maybe Neville fic if I can get it sorted out in my head.

1. It's been a wonderful weekend all round. :)

5. I think there's no way I'll ever be able to write all the fic ideas I have, even if I just wrote the InuKai ones. But sometimes I can take two or three ideas and cram them into just one story and that often makes it even richer.
