When do you write? (or vid or create other creative works) How do you find the time?

I'm struggling with this at the moment. I'm trying to write several stories, work on a vid, and write intelligent posts for LJ. But I seem to be so busy with work and other commitments that it's just not happening, except at the weekends.

I'm not sure if I need an external solution -- like cut down on some of my activities -- or an internal one -- worry less about producing all the time.

What are your strategies?

I'm struggling with it, too, and have yet to hit on a good solution. So I'm just posting to commiserate. Let me know if you find an answer.
