We're marching to Zion
Ah, The Matrix Reloaded! Ah! Or, as I said when it was over and my mouth was hanging open: Fuck!
When you go, be sure to stay to the end of the credits. There's a trailer for The Matrix Revolutions.

So far, I loved it. That sounds like I'm posting this from inside the theatre, half-way through, but actually with a movie like this, it takes me a few viewings and some discussion to form a solid, deep opinion. But the shallow opinion is: fuck!
A few impressions:
The fights were all fabulous works of art, but my favourite was Neo and Seraph in the teahouse. It was poetry.
Some of the music seemed odd, especially over the Neo-Smiths fight. But it could grow on me.
Jada Pinkett Smith is v. v. hot.
A lot of exposition to get through, maybe too much. But this is the middle movie after all. I was especially impressed with the Architect's speech. I could barely follow it, with all his five-dollar words. But it worked very, very well.
Is anybody ever going to die? After the first movie, I kept forgetting that Morpheus was still alive. (The wizard is supposed to die, after all.) It doesn't seem like Neo's made any sacrifices yet.
Agent Smith. Me me me. *lick* He's so beautiful. Looking forward to Revolutions.
For some reason, when they were in Zion, especially with the councillor and the big rally/party, I kept being reminded of the Planet of the Apes remake, but I have no idea why.
The religious aspects are getting ever stronger. I like that. But Neo! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a god! And now he has power in the real world. How many apotheoses can one man have?
I have to confess that I don't much care for Trinity and I feel badly about that. I think I just don't like Carrie-Anne Moss that much. But she was kick-ass on that motorcycle, so cool.
The candy the Oracle had looked like the red pill.
In the end, though, it's all about the Coat. I'm in love with the Coat. I want to marry the Coat. It's sexy, it's clerical, it's a cape. It's the Coat and I want it.

Oh, yes. I just grinned every time he talked to himself. And I'm thinking it's only a matter of time before someone writes Smith/Smith. Or Smith/Smith/Smith. A whole pile of naked Agents Smith. rrr.
I really have to get the poster that has him on it.

But, you know, all those Smiths are fun to think about. :)

Another six days....
Was Hugo hot as Smith? Must go think about something else....Must!
Not that I'm passing the time by building myself a Matrix of a LJ page...oh no *g*.
Re: Another six days....
I found the soundtrack a little weird at times, but I'm thinking it will grow on me. (I picked up the CDs today and I'm liking them so far.) I'm hoping to go back tomorrow or Monday, so I can actually *think* about the movie instead of just going: Oh, shiny!
And your LJ layout is cool. :)
Oooh, Smith's what it's all about, baby.
