I think it is the Moon Volley -- it's the beginning of that sequence that cuts a bunch of the guys' signature moves together. Which makes it look like Tezuka's arm gives out as he goes to return one of Fuji's triple counters, which I only realized was Fuji after watching about fifty times, because it's cut to look like the result of Kawamura's move I forget the name of. I think they did the same thing with showing the Boomerang Snake right after the build-up to the Moon Volley.

It is at the beginning of that sequence, but the stance (he crouches way down) and the blue racquet in both shots and the no socks and the vapour trail in the sparks cap matching the trail as the ball curves outside the net convince me that this is Kaidoh.
Yeah, give it at least ten. The first ep isn't that great. But once they get into the ranking tournament, it starts to heat up. Let me know if you want me to mail you files; it's easy for me to do.
