If you are a Canadian 18 years of age or older, please vote in Monday's federal election.

If you can't bring yourself to vote for a major party, you have other options:

* Choose another candidate. For example, in my riding, there's an independant and candidates for the Green party and the Marijuana party, as well as a couple of others.

* Spoil your ballot. They count the number of spoiled ballots. Write something on it about your dissatisfaction and drop it in the box. (Just don't eat it.)

If you don't go to the polls, then it just looks like you can't be bothered.
