Last hockey post until, um, the Olympics.
(For Olympic hockey, there will be icons.)
CANADA! CANADA! CANADA! After the game, some guys in the pub started singing O Canada. :) I didn't join in, but just because I wasn't on the cool side of the pub.
BUT! What the hell was up with that non-goal in the second period? That was so Russia's goal! I'm glad the game wasn't close, or the win would feel tainted.
{{{Khudobin}}} I did feel badly for you.
In this space, please imagine fanart of Mitsui with a mullet, without his false teeth, wearing a Shohoku hockey uniform. Isn't he lovely?

I'm going to primarly follow women's hockey this year, so there should be less of that.

And you're so cute when you say "eh?" :) :) :)

I was a teenager before I found out that the interrogative form of "eh?" was Canadian in origin - my mother says it all the time (I can't figure out if it's because we live a spit's fly from the border, or because her side of the family is French-Canadian). I always just assumed it was a midwestern thing. *g*

Hey, there's still bronze!
I don't think I would have noticed the "eh?" at all if we hadn't been having this particular conversation. :)
