How to cheer up.
Me and my Conky finger puppet lip-syncing and chairdancing to Super Trouper cheers me up no end.
I've been listening to Abba a lot these last few days and Super Trouper always makes me fantasize a Prince of Tennis Band AU where Ryoma is the Queen of J-Pop and has to spend all his time touring around doing concerts and TV shows and photo shoots and other stuff. Oishi, Eiji, and Kawamura back him up. Momo and Kaidoh are his bickering bodyguards. Mizuki is his sleazy manager, who is always trying to defile Ryoma's virtue, either personally or by proxy.
Back home, thinking of him always, is Ryoma's true love, Tezuka. Tezuka is a salaryman, working for Atobe. Atobe, being Atobe, constantly puts Tezuka into compromising situations that Tezuka has to acquiesce to, otherwise Atobe will wreck Ryoma's career. Inui is Tezuka's roommate and tries to keep Ryoma from finding out about Tezuka and Atobe, but Inui is in love with Tezuka himself and so he lives with constant pain.
Fuji is an evil wizard. Or maybe a vampire.
Also a good way to cheer up: D&D at the pub.

Now my mind's trying to find a scenario where Inui somehow finds true happiness with Kaidou to help him get over Tezuka. He probably bribes Mizuki with
sexual favorsdata on Ryouma to see Kaidou (who's so still making out with Momoshiro in Ryouma's dressing room. ♥) Fuji, tragically, is crushed by falling equipment during one of Ryouma's more outlandish concerts.God I love this fandom.

But when Dan lets a "desu" slip whilst giving some instructions to Momo, Momo fills in Kaidoh and they contact Inui for help in tracking down Ryoma. Dan, meanwhile, is not the performer that Ryoma was and so Ryoma's reputation is beginning to suffer.
Momo and Kaidoh, acting on Inui's information, find Akutsu's hideout, but due to Momo eating a bag of chips while they are sneaking around, they are overpowered by Akutsu and locked in a closet together.
Momo wants to make out some more but Kaidoh doesn't think that's really appropriate and they have a big fight. Inui breaks the news to Tezuka about Ryoma and they set off together.
When they arrive, Akutsu has Ryoma tied up and blindfolded. Tezuka challenges Akutsu to a fight and is nearly beaten to death before Inui incapacitates Akutsu with a blowdart.
Just as Akutsu falls to the floor, the closet door bursts open, broken down by Kaidoh. Inui and Kaidoh's eyes meet and Inui knows that *this* is his true love. It takes him about three months to convince Kaidoh, though.
Tezuka quickly frees Ryoma and clasps Ryoma to his brusied and bleeding body. "Mada mada dane," Ryoma says in a bored voice, but secretly he's pleased.
Dan has completely trashed Ryoma's singing career so now Atobe has nothing to hold over Tezuka. Tezuka and Ryoma start their own business teaching tennis to five-year-olds and live together happily ever after.
Momo is grouchy, since Kaidoh won't make out with him anymore, and he doesn't like the new star he's bodyguarding. At one of the concerts, he sees a familiar face. "I thought you were tragically crushed by falling equipment," he says.
"Oh," Fuji says, "I got better. Are you doing anything after the show?"

Things I really want you to know
2. Even if I don't comment, because sometimes I have to choose between LJ and my life, I ADORE your random posts and crack/fic ideas
3. Everything written by you is in my TO-READ-ASAP list. Since I have come to Japan that has not been possible. But I want you to know that I have only brought with me to Japan 2 printed fics,from all my collection of all times and fandoms, and both of them are yours: Somebody else's hand and In Love. I couldn't leave/live without them.
4. Please, keep doing those PoT anime chapter summaries, because I have read a couple of them and enjoyed them throughly. Thanks for taking the burden of organising it so that it is easier for us to go back and read them all.
5. Now that I have let all that out of my system, I feel much better.
