Manga
Genius 292 raw (YSI, zip) -- Everyone probably has this already but it's here for completeness.
Genius 293 raw (YSI, zip) -- Just dropped tonight. On the title page, Oishi is wearing a hat that's uglier than his hair.
I spent the whole evening reading Slam Dunk. I've finished the manga now. I didn't mean to spend so much time, but I got caught up in the game and just couldn't stop. I more or less sobbed my way through the entire last volume. It's been over an hour and I'm still so keyed up I don't know how I'll sleep.
I'd like to post about it, to discuss it a bit, but later, later. I'm still in the middle of it all now.
Just the OVAs to watch and then I'm done.

Glad to see the Golden Pair is starting to glow golden. That's a most essential skill in tennis.
Isn't Slam Dunk awesome? Isn't it? ISN'T IT?!?
My god Sakuragi's hair is red in your icon.

Slam Dunk is beyond awesome. It's the essence of what I love about sports manga/anime. I want more, dammit!

I so know what you mean about Slam Dunk! Is it weird that the only manga I've ever felt teary about are shounen? I'm kind of sad because I finally decided I'm never going to reread it and am getting rid of my books, but it's so hard. I loved that series.

It is sad that you have to get rid of your books. :( I can never do that.

At the height of my manga collecting I had over a thousand volumes... If I had never sold anything I bought, I probably would have 1500+ right now, so there's just no way. ^_^;; Some things I can part with as soon as I've read them, but there were a lot that I hung on to for years and years, but now we're trying to get rid of stuff in preparation for hopefully moving next year, so I've been getting rid of even more. It's hard to part with them, but if I'm honest with myself, I will probably never read them again, since there's always new stuff coming out...
