The suggestions that I gave in details are just that -- suggestions. You don't need to follow them if another idea hits you. I'm really not that fussy. The most important thing is that you write a story that you enjoy and that you're happy with. I mean that. If you're happy, I'm happy.

As for me, while I'm 0 for 3 in getting assigned the fandom I hope for every year (next year for sure!), I'm very happy with the assignment I got. Time to start swotting up the canon. Whee!

This year I wised up and only listed really, really, really weird fandoms that I would absolutely love to write a fic for. (Last year, I was quite disappointed with what I was assigned, and I ended up reading a series of novels so I could do a different prompt.)

What were you hoping for? (And if you won't say now, will you say in January? I'm curious.)

I cut the number of fandoms I offered way back this year and I think it was a good decision. But if I say what my hoped-for fandom is, I'll jinx it for next year!
