The Boy is in a character-bashing flamewar in one of his fandoms. The fangirls are taking him to task, because in their eyes, the character is perfect. He can't understand why they don't share his point of view.

"But I'm coming up with all these reasons that they can't respond to!" he says. "I don't know why they won't listen!"

I'm unable to advise him because I'm laughing too hard to speak.
