Sorry, just wandering by from friendsfriends, and I saw your post about Anansi Boys, which so completely mirrored my reaction that I had to comment. I stopped about halfway through, not feeling any particular spark to convince me to read more right! that! moment! the way really good books do. However, someone else read it and convinced me to keep going, that it got better, and I have to say that she was right to do so. Gaiman has a slow buildup on this book, but I really liked it, by the end. Just my two cents.
