Back to school
So, if one were, say, adding a school to the LJ Schools Directory and this school happened to be in Tokyo, what would one fill in for "State/Province"? One has been trying to figure this out by googling, but is not having much luck figuring it out, due to the special status of Tokyo.
And how about Macdonald Hall and Scrimmages? I know they're close enough to Toronto to go there on school trips, but I can't find the name of the town/city they're actually in. Anyone recall?
Real content of some sort to come later on today, once I finish my chores and have time to write some.

As for the Tokyo school, I have no idea. International addresses are always complicated, Tokyo more so than most.

I had it on the shelf, so I started reading it this afternoon. So far, no name, but they do talk about Jordie Jones (the movie star) being driven from the Hall into Toronto.
And the movie that they're filming, Academy Blues, has the plot of I Want To Go Home. I don't think I twigged to that the first time I read it.
I think I'm officially corrupted beyond redemption because I keep imagining Jordie and Boots in a panoply of BL manga scenarios.

Also, Tokyo is different from other Japanese cities -- it's officially a metropolis and its own prefecture. I don't have a good grasp on the prefectural system. So, would you put Tokyo and Tokyo? It's in the Kantou region, but again, I don't know if the regions are used in that way.
Anyhow, I don't know what would be correct in this case. Hence my question.

So ummm... Yeah. Best of luck and hopefully LJ doesn't screw it up.

Tokyo addresses
A Tokyo address would have to have the ward listed to be delivered.

The Tokyo, Tokyo approach seems more sensible since a lot of people don't know the the wards and their locations that well anyway, and the people who do can find it somewhere else.
