Just when I thought I was getting caught up with all my media. (Though I continue behind on comments -- will catch up today, I hope.)

Prince of Tennis Movie torrents

These are DVD rips, so they are lovely and clear and they are also huge. Raw files, not subs. Thanks to mitethe for passing along the links. You'll probably have to copy and paste the torrent links into your browser.


The First Game -- 1.85 GB rar file, un-rars into 2 GB worth of vob (and other) files. I can play these on my media player; I think any player that can play DVDs should work.

Crystal-clear CRACK! I haven't finished watching, but I'm part-way in. Already, I'm jonesing for some movie-universe Ryoga/Tezuka CRACK. And those suits are just as terrible as they looked in the previews. Apparently, they all shop at the same place as Touya Akira.

A Present from Atobe -- 1.9 GB vob files. I've only just started this download, so I can't commment on the files yet.



Other Anime

Shuffle -- I grabbed the first episode. I would say: meh. Looks like a cute harem / extra-dimensional-beings type show, if that's your thing. Not so much mine. (Well, KKM aside. *g*)

Tide-Line Blue -- Looks awesome. A disaster has killed most of the world's population and raised the sea-level so that land is scarce. Some people try to pull together, others try to pull apart. The focus is on a young man and the people he cares about. This just started -- I think there will be 13 eps in all.

Honey and Clover -- Something like 10 or 11 episodes are subbed so far. A few people on my flist mentioned this lately so I thought I'd check it out. I've seen 5 eps and I'm enjoying it a lot. It's a cute shoujo/slice-of-life show about art students. Mayama breaks my heart.

And this means a sub can't be too far behind...right?

(Also, can we hurry up these nice folks who provide the crack and get the FMA movie going?)

I assume there will be a sub sometime in the next decade. *g*

I'm scared of the FMA movie! I fear that it will make me as stressed as the show did and I fear that it won't.

I had to put FMA on hold about 3/4 of the way through, because it stressed me out too much. :( One of the reasons I love PoT -> stress I can handle. Even if it has a bad habit of making every single episode into a cliffhanger. =D

In other news, I just ordered copies of both Loveless and Meine Liebe (I read the first two chapters of the manga and fell completely in love with ML! I hope the anime is as good.) Have you seen either?

Good call -- these files are lovely, but so very, very large.

I've seen both. Loveless freaked me out in the extreme. I watched one ep, waited a week til the last ep was subbed, then watched the remaining eleven all in one go, freaking out all the while. I have since deleted the episodes rather than burning them. It was very compelling, very creepy, and very confusing.

Meine Liebe is basically boys so pretty it will make your teeth hurt and seiyuus so sexy you'll want to rip the soundtracks and listen to them on your iPod. There's not much of a story -- it's just gratuitous pretty. I did write one small ML story, which was a missing scene from ep 5. It's in my memories, if you want to check it out once you get that far.

I didn't know there was an ML manga -- I thought it was just based on a dating sim.

Random pretty boys are a-ok with me! Mmmmm, sexy!seiyuus. I still have to burn a copy of Inui's crack album so I can listen to it on the road.

I will definitely check out the story once I've seen up to ep 5. In the meantime, you interested in the two chapters of the Manga I've got? I'm not sure who's scanlating them, but it's all I've found so far. From what I understand, it was the dating sim first, then the anime, then the manga.

And now, I'm a little worried about Loveless. o.O

You know Tezuka was having a crisis of conscience about wanting a threesome with Ryouma and Ryouga. *grin*
