I shall eternally be amused by your love for that Harry.

No, no, I cannot get my hopes up that prillalar will start writing SD fic about the characters I want her to and mumble mumble
Isn't a cute series though? The anime is fairly entertaining and the art in the later issues of the manga becomes pretty amazing, even if it is (of course) 99% basketball.

I have scanlations of the manga, but they're quite poor quality so I gave up trying to read them.
I am fathoms deep in love with Yohei. I quite like most of the characters, but he's by far my favourite.
"Red means stop"
Slam Dunk manga is coming out translated now, but so slowly it's going to take awhile before the best art comes up. If you want to see Inoue Takehiko's more matured style, take a peak at Vagabond (his Miyamoto Musashi bio), which is also coming out translated.
Maybe I was too influenced by all the pretty doujinshi Slam Dunk spawned, but Rukawa and Hanamichi will always have a special place in my fannish heart, Although Hanamichi is my little black dress when it comes to SD, so he can go amusingly with Youhei or Sendoh etc. The Sakuragi gundan is always entertaining as well, gen or slash.
