Unplugged
Okay, I think I'm just going to do what other people are doing and stay the hell off LJ until I've read HBP. I won't be going completely off-line until about 48 hours before the book, so you can always reach me by email (or comment here) if you can't live without me. *g*
A week away from LJ! I suppose it might build character. Or I might even write something.

I'll post my thoughts on it, but rest assured that I'll put it behind an LJ cut. Best wishes though.

However, I'll probably be offline as well since I don't get a lot of time to read during the week. I'll have to read HBP all in one go before the weekend is over!
Gosh. I can't wait. I wish I had kids to take to the release party, damnit! *bounces*

Seriously, this HP thing has gone out of control- I work in a bookstore and the boxes of HBP have been sitting in our stockroom for a week with paper wrapped around them and giant signs reading 'NO NO NO NO' plastered all over. And yesterday word came down that they were making all of us sign a *voucher* saying that we wouldn't open it early. (?!!!) Worse than that, we're in the middle of major remodelling, and they forgot all about us having to be open until 1am that night, so now we have a team of thirty burly rednecks who are scheduled to be doing construction and laying carpet on HP night. Joy.

That's it. I won't work in a bookstore until she finishes 7. *hugs* I feel sorry for you. It must be horrible because you're so close, but yet so far.

I'm a bad HP fan.
I was almost tempted to reserve HBP at Barnes & Noble yesterday, but when the customer service agent said that I had to actually SHOW UP at the bookstore and receive a "bracelet" (WTF?) as the number to wait in a queue to purchase it, I bailed. I hate crowds and crappy parking.
