There are times when I honestly wonder whether Konomi recalls that he aged the boys down to Jr. High. I mean, all of this would make more sense if they were high school students, the way they were allegedly supposed to be when he thought this whole thing up.
So has Sanada, apparently. Either sensei has screwed up his chronology or we'll be seeing more scary chibi flashbacks soon (though, somehow, the image of Flaming jailbait!Tezuka doesn't have quite the same effect).
Seriously! Every time I look at Sanada, I boggle that anyone could even think he was in high school, let alone junior high. He's too bulky to be younger.
I kind of like the scary chibi flashbacks, so that gets my vote. Maybe Sanada and Yukimura and Atobe and Tezuka were all at sleep-away tennis camp when they were wee grade-schoolers. There could be ghost stories!
Anything you want to send is okay. I have the first 5 volumes in English (thanks to an absurd amount of money that went to amazon.com), other than that I have 22-25 vol in japanese (yeah, I´m a bit of a rikkai fangirl) and scattered raws from here and there, so as you can see, I´m very PoT deprived, really.
I think most of my trepidation towards the TeniPuri chibis is because their character designs have a bit of a "my hed iz pastede on YAY" feel. Plus the seiyuu attempting to sound young but instead sounding horribly WRONG *cough*Tezuka*cough*. ^_^;
Backstory is still good, though, and if there's tennis camp I wanna see them all in tennis ball print jammies. XD
It has been epic (all the cybers in my city seem to have been wiped for the face or earth or transformed into fancy restaurants) but I´ve downloaded them! I could never thank you enough!
