Loveless

I just watched the first episode of Loveless. Goddamn, but it creeped me out. I just can't decide if it's "delete all the files and never speak of it again"-creepy or "watch every episode as soon as possible"-creepy. I'm really torn. Thoughts?

And if it's the latter, which subs should I watch? I've downloaded a few by We Suck but I see at least one other group is subbing.

I think you'll feel like that about every single episode, if you do watch it. I'm holding out for the last one before I watch past ep four. I want it all over with quickly, one way or another.

And I find the subs much of a muchness.

I think you have the best idea. Since it seems like there's only one ep to go, I think I can wait and then have one huge creep-fest.

I'd say it depends on what's creeping you out about it. I've got all the Suck subs, personally.

Well, there are several things creeping me. Mostly, I wanted to see who else was watching it so I could gauge from that whether I should keep on.

Loveless makes me giddy with creeped-out squee. Soubi especially, although Ritsuka tends to irritate me out of the mood every now and then. We Suck seems to be pretty good, if nothing else they release episodes nice and regularly. And there's only one episode left for them to sub - if I'm remembering right it's only a 12 ep mini-series. I will feel so deprived when it's over. Obsession () is scanlating the manga as well, although they've only done 2 volumes out of the 4 and it's been at that stage for over a year now. I have yet to find the soundtrack anywhere, but the opening and ending themes are listed on mininova. Um... I'm not obsessed at all, really. Either way, the episodes continue on in much the same tone and manner as the first - it's not exactly the most action driven thing. But I'd say worth watching, if for no other reason than Soubi.

Soubi was so very, very, very creepy. *shudder* I think I'll stick with it. :)

It's SO the *watch them all at once* -creepy way. And stick with We Suck, 'cause they're being more regular about it, in addition to the fact that they're doing it almost exclusively; aarinfantasy is more stretched for time to do it, yanno? (Plus i like the style of WS better but that might just be me.)

Okay yeah....rambling. ^^;; But seriously. Loveless? Is soooooo good. XD

I've only seen the first two episodes but the anime seems bent on making things more creepy than the manga (which kicks much ass, btw). We Suck's translations are quite accurate and good. Haven't seen the other group's subs so can't comment on that.

I watched the first chapter and firmly decided that I didn't want to watch anymore. Found it pretty pointless and annoying as hell.

I read a bit of the manga and found it boring, and the shota cat ears really don't do it for me, so I don't want to bother.
