About Prince of Tennis 170, I have only two things to say:

* I really need to know what Kaidoh and Momoshiro were talking about.

* In the bumper image, could the top row have been any better arranged?




Kaidoh between Inui and Momo. Momo between Kaidoh and Ryoma. Ryoma between Momo and Tezuka. (I don't really ship MomoRyo, but it's sweet and fun at times.) The only improvement I would make would be to wrap it all around so Inui was between Kaidoh and Tezuka. Because InuTez is a ship I have grown to appreciate.

I think I really need to start paying more attention to the manga scanlations, to help me transition if the rumours are true. I'm still IRC-challenged here on Mac OS X, so I'll give that another shot this weekend and see if I do any better at downloading.

It's so frustrating to have so much trouble with a technical thing like that -- I'm meant to be a geek that always gets everything working. But IRC (downloding, not chatting) seems like voodoo and the channels are far too scary to ask for help in. So it's hard to troubleshoot. If I can't get things going, I might beg for someone to help me do some testing.

What program do you use? Just curious, being a Mac OS X person and IRC challenged myself, and everyone else uses mIRC...

I have both ircle and X-Chat Aqua installed right now. If I actually get this working, I'll do a post about it with all the tech info.

Is the problem with the IRC program? I had trouble with a lot of them when I switched to OSX, but X-Chat Aqua (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/11070) is pretty nice & not very difficult to use.

I'm not sure what the problem is, actually. The last time I tried it, I was able to get a bot to respond to me an initiate a download, but then it crapped out right away. I couldn't tell if it was a router/firewall issue or something about my own computer setup.

Have you been able to use X-Chat Aqua for DCC? I have problem with just chatting on IRC; it's file downloads I haven't yet got working.

I don't know anything about downloading manga through IRC, but I've never had trouble with music files through DCC. How do you download PoT? I could try it, to see if it's something to do with the bots vs. Macs?

I think it was FMA I was trying to d/l from the bot, which shows how long it's been since I last tried this. :) I'm glad to hear that DCC is working for you. I'm going to try some stuff and if I get desperate, you might hear from me.

When you use DCC is that just meeting friends and sending files? I was able to d/l some anime using X-Chat Aqua from a bot in a channel, but when I use fserv triggers, it doesn't work.

The more I look, the more I find that there's not a really good OS X IRC solution. I do have VirtualPC, so I suppose I could always install mIRC there.

Just sending files with friends, yes. I'll fiddle around with trying to download manga through IRC; if I have any better luck than you've had, I'll let you know.

I really hope that isn't the case. :/

The series started with the manga, which was a shonen series. The anime was strictly for girls, they dont bother to hide any emotions, i'm sure if it was allowed it would be a yaoi-heavy series xD
