Well, frack me!

♥♥♥ Sky One + Bittorrent + Hal = OT3 ♥♥♥

I thought I was going to have to wait until January for Battlestar Galactica. Oh, but it was sweet. There were thumb shots and all!

It was just exhausting to watch, I must say. What effective torture, the 33 minute window. And the scenes back on Caprica with ... Kilo? Helo? Is that his name? God, you know that can't end well. It just ripped my heart out.

I love Baltar but I'm going to get tired of him soon if he doesn't start interacting with someone that's not inside his head.

Adama and Tigh were just great together. I have a bit of a thing for Tigh. Also, for Tigh/Starbuck. Ah, het!

Above all -- the ships are so pretty. So, so, so pretty. I hope there are lots and lots of space battles just so I can watch them.

Dude! I'm so glad someone put this one out for everyone. Of course, that means that come January, I'm going to have yet another series to download, but I can actually get into this.

And yes, the scenes on Caprica with Helo don't bode well... Poor guy. And Baltar is starting to irritate me a bit, too.

I didn't realise that Sky One was going to start airing the series now, so it's very exciting. :) I'm not sure if it's set to air in Canada in Jan or not.

And I'm assuming the same thing will happen with Stargate as last year, where Sky will have the newer eps airing a week or two ahead of SciFi. Since I have to d/l them either way, earlier is always better.

What will you have to d/l in January?

I keep forgetting that you're in Canada... Heh. I just assumed that it was an early leak like when the "Lost" pilot was released early. But I guess if they're airing it early, then I won't have to wait till January. Yay! I'm already making icons...

Wow, this was amazing. SciFi is on my good side ( at least for the time being). They played that shear exhaustion so well. I love having a serious and good sci fi show to watch again. Thanks you muchly.

Can someone explain to me what the deal with this show is? I watched, because everyone talks about it, but I couldn't make much sense of it. How many episodes/seasons/random somethings have I missed? Who's who, and when and where are they? It seemed well made-- action, dialogue, emotion-- but I could have used a little more exposition, personally.

If you had no clue what was going on, then you have missed the mini-series. This was the first ep of the regular series. The mini was four hours, I think -- it's been a while since I watched it -- and gives the whole story of how they got in that situation. I think Sky aired it last week.

Yeah, Rik and I watched the mini-series with some trepidation, our memories of the original were a bit ticklish, but we were well hooked by the end.

I recorded the first eppie, but have resisted watching as Rik is only here one Monday in two - and we have agreed to watch the two back to back next Monday. Of course this *would* happen the only time we ever get a show first!

That said, I was surprised at how effective the mini-series was, and how much I'm looking forward to the show. The cylons are too cool - I want one.

I think pretty much everyone was skeptical of the mini-series. Until they watched it. Wow, it was so good.
