I have an interesting relationship with my Magic 8-Ball. While I was brought up strongly Christian, I am now an atheist. But it's hard to shake the conditioning of youth and there are times (thankfully, much less frequent) when I find myself automatically saying a prayer. So, to get over that, I say my prayers to the Magic 8-Ball instead. This has helped a lot in getting me away from the prayer habit, but it has also made the 8-Ball into a figure of spiritual authority for me. Also, I like Emily Strange.

Who else do I like from Naruto? Well, Kabuto. I don't generally have any desire to read/write fanfic for this fandom, but when Kabuto said that Orochimaru liked him because he healed quickly, I had to swallow hard and tell myself I had no time for more pairings.

I adore Shikamaru too. I love disaffected characters. And I have a Sekrit Crush on Ebisu. He's darling.

I live in hope that Naruto and Hinata will get together, at least a little bit. They are cute beyond belief.

I've been picking up the Viz translations of the manga. I did download a ton of scanlations, but the thought of reading that much on the computer screen makes me feel tired and most of the images seemed quite small, so I haven't bothered with those.

Omg, Kabuto, I so want to lick him. He´s my guilty pleasure (I always have a thing for the ambiguous guys, anyway).

In Spain Naruto #12 is about to come out but I have a lot of scanlations from narutofan.com and they are quite good but I admit reading scans can be a bit tiring (and I have already my share of that with FMA, Bleach and Death Note).

Ron and Hermione holding hands is my favorite icon of yours: it's all about the trapping of the moment (it's so intimate in close-up; I love her index finger across the back of his hand), the cropping, and the color. I too can spend a lot of time staring at it.
