Today I filtered out my FMA communities because I am terrified of being spoiled before the end. (Just five more eps to go.) And it struck me just how revisionist LJ can be. Now, when I look at my friends page, it's like they were never there. And if I add someone, to all appearances, they were always there. It's kind of freaky.

Is it just me or is Ron/Draco the best hate pairing ever? I don't think Harry cares enough about Draco to hate him. But Ron, oh, Ron cares very much.

In other news, I spent the day working on my computer, working on the Boy's computer, and watching hockey at the pub. Go Canada!

The Boy's computer must be fixed because right now he cannot play AVIs and if he cannot play AVIs, he cannot watch Prince of Tennis, which he is keen to do. I swear I didn't pimp him into this -- I got him to pick up the Viz manga translation for me and he read the first two volumes and thought they were great. So.

Vol 3 came in yesterday. Very enjoyable. There were little profiles of Ryoma and Momo. Momo's said one of his hobbies was sensory games. I'm trying to think what that could be, besides the obvious, which it can't possibly be. Hmm... I've also beeing picking up the Viz Narutos and the ad for PoT 1 & 2 which says Can Ryoma tame the "snake"? makes me laugh every fucking time.

John Crichton is the most annoying ass in the universe. Next to him, Mulder looks appealing. Aeryn/D'Argo OTP!

Maybe I'm just cranky without my Rodney this week.

No, it's not just you. Ron/Draco IS the best hate pairing ever, or atleast for Harry Potter.

I looked at my friend's Teni Puri Volume 1 and at one point Oishi called Fuji "Huji." I guess VIZ didn't care too much about typos in that.

I don't think it's an incorrect romanization, but it wasn't consistant with the rest of the book. There were a few things like that. More editing was needed. But it was fun nonetheless. :)

Okay, so...because Pet Shop of Horrors 8 *still* isn't in anywhere around me, I actually took a look at the back cover of Prince of Tennis today. So...it's really about tennis, right? I mean...just tennis? And the hero's a weedy 12 year old? Um...

...if one was going to pimp PoT to someone, what would that one say? *g*

Uh...yeah. See, this is why I don't actually try to pimp PoT. I'm actually kind of embarassed I'm so into it.

Yes, it's about boys who play tennis. And their progression through various tournaments. But the characters are a *lot* of fun. I got into the anime first which is maybe more crack-like.

Imagine that HP wasn't about Voldemort and all that stuff and instead they just went to school and the books were all about them playing Quidditch and all the boys were pretty. If you could get into that, you could get into PoT.

I admit, I'm finding it quite a challenge fic-wise because while there are many very cool characters, there's not a lot of scope for Things to Happen.

So, are you sold? *g*

Maybe I'll, y'know, take a look at the anime. *g*

"Sensory games"... Well, Momo has a Dance Dance Revolution mat in his bedroom, maybe that's what they mean. :D

As for Ron/Draco, I don't know if it's better than anything else, but though I once swore I'll never like it, I find myself reading a lot if it lately...

Oh, God, yes. I love them so much, their sick dynamic. And think about Draco in OotP, staying up late, struggling to compose "Weasley is our king"... He pays much more attention to Ron than to Harry.

I thought vaguely about writing some Mugen/Jin slash but then decided there was no point -- I like them het and that's all there is to it. Jin is a romantic and Mugen is a horndog and I love love love it, but I just want to see them with women.

I also like these two het (and it has nothing to do with wanting Jin all by myself, no) but then again I´ve been feeling the "het" vibe very strongly lately, maybe when I watch the whole series I´ll change my mind and want them to do it like rabbits, I dunno.

By the way I read "Summer Thing" last night (or well, morning, since it was 6 a.m.). I can´t believe I hadn´t read it before. Very nice. I don´t know who´s luckier, Fred, George or Hermione.

R/D is also a fave badfic pairing of mine -- the more OOC, the better. I've never quite figured out why.

Since I hate the Harry/Draco pairing with a passion and I´ve never really known who to slash Ron with it seemed natural to me liking R/D, so the two boys are busy and do not mess with the rest of my OTPs. I´m that simple.

I´ve always preferred Fred when it comes to the twins but somehow I think George is more apt for a relationship with Hermione, I can´t point exactly why.
