A bit on Tenipuri
I've finally finished all the Prince of Tennis subbed eps -- all 119 of them. Whew! But it's sad not to have any more big bunches to download. On the other hand, I can get back to my Naruto consumption soon.
1. Did you ever think that maybe Tezuka actually went to Paris to become an international male supermodel? It seems entirely possible.
2. When I thought there was a 0.1% chance that Arai would get to play in the Rikkaidai match, I almost hyperventilated. He is so my Seigaku boyfriend.
3. Oh my god, the MomoKai! Things seemed to be heating up at the training camp and then doubles together! Kaidoh on the phone! I die of the cuteness. And mauling each other on the court! And being supportive! And the bandana given as a token of love! I die, I die, I die. (I could have done without the whole dog-saving incident, though.) It seems I'm totally happy to switch between the InuKai and the MomoKai, just so long as someone is properly appreciating the boy.
4. In re the series in general, I've been thinking that it's not just about Ryoma's tennis journey, but it's also about his socialization. He's an odd kid, a loner. In the US that's more acceptable than in Japan. Now he has to be part of a group, he has to learn to fit in with his classmates, he learns to rely on other people and be a functioning member of the team. I really like that aspect of the show.
5. Yamato is a freak.

*squeal* Oh, you love Arai too! I don't know how he got me, because he's such a bully and all, but at the same time he's so cute... Don't you want to try your hand at Arai/Kachiro? *puppy eyes* Please...?

Ah yes, Momokai. It took me time to warm up to it, but after reading a wonderful doujinshi series called "MK Speaker", I'm totally hooked. Actually i'm currently working on a Momokai fic. If I ever finish it, I'd like to have your opinion.

Yes, exactly. We see Ryoma slowly learning the meaning of friendship. And we all of them grow up. I mean, the timeline si short (140 episodes to cover 4 or 5 months!) but they all changed so much since the beginning.

Yamato is a pedophile... but I like him nonetheless.

By the by, something I meant to put on that list but forgot: chibi!Kachiro looks *exactly the same* as normal Kachiro.
And the MomoKai! It just crept up on me in the last 25 or so eps. I started to notice that they were always standing beside each other and I even saw them sitting together on one of the bus trips. I haven't yet looked for fic, etc, but I'll get to that soon.
In the random fic universe in my head, Kaidoh is always trying to impress Momo, though he's not sure why. And Inui is putting the moves on Kaidoh and Kaidoh is unable to resist him. And Momo is mostly straight and clueless but he's starting to think that Kaidoh is actually a stand-up guy. We'll see if anything ever distills out of that. :)
Do finish your fic and feel free to send it to me when you're done. Or if you want to discuss it while it's in progress.

As for MomoKai, I started to really *see* it after the bathroom scene and the pillow-fight at the training camp. There's absolutely no doubt that those scene were inserted to throw hints at fangirls. lol
Thank you for offering to discuss my fic. Right now it's still a sorry mess, so I won't bother you with it yet. But if you want to help me, you can comment this fic:

My first fic ever... I'm so proud to have finished it. My worst fear as a beginner was to become one of those fans who post a few chapters, then get stuck and stop updating! But I have to admit that all the reviews I got by email or at ff.net (more than 100! It made me so happy) kept me going.
I would tell you the pairings, but the plot relies on the mystery. Anyway, you know my tastes... ^_^
I'm not looking for compliments, what I want is to improve as fast as possible. Any advice from a good writer is welcome. The fic is rather long though, so if you don't have time it's ok.
