i know exactly what you mean. that's probably the reason i usually prefer r/d to h/d as an antagonistically-based relationship... it's hard to explain, but their dislike of each other just has a different chemistry to it, and one that appeals to me a lot more.

plus i love the weasley/malfoy contrast that's already there on a fundamental level -- something draco and harry don't really have.

though, admittedly, i do like h/d too on occasion... and now i'm babbling too much and getting off the point. sorry. *g*
