Shiny.

PoA trailer! I wasn't able to get the Quicktime version to work -- too many fangirls downloading, I guess. But I did manage the RealPlayer version.

* Ron/Hermione! *melts*

* I'm intrigued that they had Hermione punch Draco when in the book she slaps him. I suppose they figured slapping is too girly. But I find slapping has demeaning overtones that punching doesn't. Though maybe that only works when the slapper is in a greater position of power. And maybe I'm obsessing over this too much.

* The eagles Buckbeak!

* Fuck me, but Alan Rickman is the sexiest thing alive. (Well, him and Drew Barrymore.) I enjoy Snape in the books, but I'm not in love with him. But on screen, oh my god.

* I'm not sure if Ron's hat or Draco's hat is uglier. Perhaps there should be some ugly hat slash. "I hate you Malfoy. But I can't resist your ugly hat." "Your hat is much uglier, Weasley." *frantic making out but nothing else because they are 13 and I am not*

* "I hope he finds me, because when he does, I'm going to be ready." *shivers*

* You know, though, I liked the teaser trailer better. I think it was the song.

Once you're done with your first round of trailer squee, head on over to [livejournal.com profile] minitrog's to pick up some Wounded Wesley Wallpaper. Oh, but he's pretty when he's hurting. And that's all the time.

It's the mouth, I swear to god. It curls.

I actually like the punch, I think it suits the movie (or, er, trailer at least) better than a slap would have. That and I love Draco's reaction to it.

I know. *swoons*

He's the only man.... I'm not even going to finish that sentence.

OH oh oh oh god...

Hee! He does inspire that. *g*

uhuh... I'm technically bi, I guess. But in reality... But he.. *faints*

Ditto.

Me three. The song was gorgeous, and the little over-achiever choir was absolutely lovely. And the toads! :)

Had a bit of a discussion (http://www.livejournal.com/users/roxannelinton/18943.html) over the slap/punch at my lj, you might wanna join in?

Heh on the ugly hats. I feel you must write this.

Someone needs to write that story. Heh.

I'm irked about the punch vs slap, because in the book, it actually showcases something about Draco's character which will be transformed in the movie into something entirely different. She slaps him, he walks away. Whether he does this because you don't voluntarily touch a Mudblood for any reason whatsoever, or because you don't hit girls even if they're Mudbloods, or because he really does have a massive crush on her that he's unwilling to admit, even to himself, that's completely lost in the film, where she punches him hard enough to require Crabbe and Goyle to carry him off (but his nose isn't bleeding? What's up with that?).

Also, I think that this scene we've seen in the trailer means the amazing (and canon-based) imagery of Hermione holding Draco at wandpoint is now gone. Sad. It was such a grand pic...

I finally got to see the trailer (yea lan line at work!). My biggest thought is - no Percy! ;-) But yes, ok, I'm there with you on Snape. Alan Rickman. One of them, I'm not sure.

Also, Remus! Happy squeal.

But do we have to have so much of Harry?
