I've been trying to compose something witty and thought provoking, but I've just ended up with a handful of randomness.

Wesley, Rogue Demon Hunter - You're Welcome

* Dead nuns. In habits. I guess they belong to the Sacred Order of Movie and TV Nuns.

* Cordy!!!!!!!! Even dead, she's still pretty. And I must say, I was suspicious about her being dead or astrally projected from the get-go.

* Cordelia's cleavage. My god. I've missed it.

* Spike is pretty, but he always seems out of place on Angel.

* Oh, Doyle. :( :( :( :( :(

* "it's not me you want to screw" -- oh, wait, that was season 2. Obviously, it still applies.

* Wes making with the Latin -- sexysexy. But he said "black arts" and I wanted him to say "dark arts". Please, Wes! Enable my Hogwarts fantasies about you.

* Shirtless swordfights? More! Please, more!

* Harmony is my evil undead girlfriend.

* I still can't figure out what the hell Lindsey was doing back. His stated reasons make no sense for where we left him and surely there were less dangerous ways to try to seduce Angel.

* I sincerely hope Lindsey will be back. This seems pretty unfinished to me.

* I don't think Wes will forget what Cordelia said about Connor.

* Overall, I thought the ep was clunky, but it had some snappy dialogue. Oh, and shirtless swordfights.

Shirtless swordfights and stuff that makes you think of GalaxyQuest? Maybe I have to start watching this show, too. *g*

The de-shirting was sooooo gratuitous, I immediately yelled out that line. Lindsey goes from partially unbuttoned to open to off entirely during the fight. It doesn't hurt that he's covered in lovely mystical tattoos. Fortunately, we were spared a parallel Shatner shot of Angel.

It was the drawing of the curtain around the bed we'd seen her in earlier. You know that was her, you saw the room before. Bed, comatose girl - and Angel & Wes come in and she pops up and shields the bed immediately.

I was crying this morning over her.

I didn't cry, except to tear up over Doyle, but it was so sweet to see her and Wesley hug. So much love and friendship there. Once Wes's memory comes back, he'll know that she forgave him.

There was another ep this season where he said "dark arts" and I immediately concocted a scenario where he was teaching DADA at Hogwarts and I was his star pupil, much smarter than Hermione, and then when I left school, we got married and lived happily ever after. And I snuck out at weekends for my illicit affair with Captain Hook.

You see, Lindsey wants to seduce Angel, but he has to get knocked around- or out - as well. Make Angel cranky, he will smack you. If you're Lindsey, just being in Angel's presence inspires violence.

As to Wes at Hogwarts...I hope such thoughts are fed. :)

I just thought there would have been an easier way to make Angel mad -- say, one that didn't involve incurring the wrath of the Senior Partners. Then they could have had the sexy violence without the Portal O' Doom.
