Thank you, it was.

Thank you all for your good wishes! I had a lovely day -- solved a pesky coding problem I was having, had lunch with my co-workers, and dinner with the Boy. And now I'm drinking beer and doing Garibaldi's second favourite thing in the universe.

To top off my day, the wonderful [livejournal.com profile] kormantic wrote me 500 words of Hermione/George. Go forth and read -- this is sweet and sharp and it gives me a tingly feeling just thinking about it.

Happy Birthday, Hal. May you live as long as you like, and love as long as you live.

Garibaldi! I always liked him.

Well, once I could pry my attention away from Ivanova.

Happy birthday! I kept meaning to wish you this, but life and a terrible hangover kept getting in the way.

You're a very cool person, and you write absolutely wonderful stories. Many happy returns. And this Hermione/George thing, well, I'm so sold on it that I could buy swampland in Florida.

Happy birthday to Hal! Happy birthday to HAL! Happy BIRTHDAY! To Hal! *singsingsingHalsing*

May you have many happy returns of pretty boys, speaking Greek, being Greek, cheek to cheek.

Psst. Happy late birthday, and I just wanted to tell you -- I think I've officially converted from any vestiges of Hermione/Ron over firmly into Hermione/George. Thanks for my new OTP! *g*

Oops. Sorry, I'm terrible at dates -- that is, calendar ones. Many happy returns and many further years.
