Mix it up!

I want to do this week's [livejournal.com profile] contrelamontre / [livejournal.com profile] ame_soeur challenge:

Two scenes that have exactly the same dialogue, but the delivery, the gestures and emotions (and thus, actions and reactions) are different, which means that we'll get two stories with basically the same spoken words, but different content. 60 minutes.

But I thought it would be more fun to do it as an exchange where I would take 20 minutes (or less) to write some dialogue and then ship that off to someone else who would then have 40 minutes to fill in everything else to make two scenes. And they'd write dialogue for me to use.

Anyone want to play? I could probably do two of these, even.

Okay, I'll do it, if you'll have me. It's not like I should be, you know, working or anything.

Do we need to match up fandoms? I write in almost everything. *snerk* HP, LotR, XMM, BtVS/AtS, SV...

er, sure, if you like.

*grin* Sounds like fun! My email is also in my profile.

Will send the dialogue today. Hope your headache goes away, too!

Hee, hee, I finished my story. Hal, your dialogue rocks. It just totally does. This was really neat. What a cool idea.

One question: I am about to post to [livejournal.com profile] contrelemontre and since it looks like I am the first poster I was writing an explanation in the A/N. Did you send the same dialogue to [livejournal.com profile] musesfool as you did to me, or did you do two different ones?

OK, posted. I hope it does your bit justice!

I've been good and haven't opened the email messages yet. :)

It was so hard not to peek. S'why I went ahead and wrote the fic, the mail was just sitting there marked "unread". Hope your fuzziness goes away, that sounds irksome.

this is unrelated to your post: You rock. I saw your comment, went to see the rest of your icons, ended up discovering you were a Classics person and read some x-files stuff...

...let's just say that you rock my world in every way it is possible to be rocked. Whatever the mega-uber-platinum version of Friending is, I'm doing that right now.

Neat! When you do this again, count me in.
