Sadly, I'm not truly synesthetic (though doing research on it made me wish madly that I were). I do have a lot of spatial/linear/box-type things going on my head in relation to days of the week, calendar months, and hours of the day, but it's not the direction correlation of two senses that true synesthesia is all about.
I am quite color-sensitive, though, and will often associate experiences, music, or abstract thoughts with color, though it's rarely a lasting association. Instead, it's kind of a momentary thing in which some kind of experience or thought conjures up a color while it's happening, and the color dissipates later without a memory.
In case you can't tell, I'm jealous of *your* associations! :)
