I honestly felt a little betrayed when they didn't. It's one of the basic laws of sf -- if it's incredibly cute, and not from Earth, it eats your face. This is just the way the universe is supposed to work!

Donna was quite unexpectedly awesome. That pantomime thing through the windows -- brilliant. And I'm so glad they went out of their way to blast any possibility of Yet Another Shippy Companion into tiny bits. And then jump up and down on the bits. And then light them on fire.
