Yeah, me too. I think that's up to Inui, too, which is a change from Renji's "I'm running away FOREVER or FOUR YEARS, I GUESS" attitude. Maybe he'll go for four more years of silence, maybe not. I doubt we'll ever get an in-canon reconciliation but I feel like Inui's personality is one where he can get over it now, maybe in a way he couldn't when he was 11. At least Konomi has given us that much.
