When I first saw this episode, this reminded me so much of Harry giving Neville's name to Stan Shunpike in Prisoner of Azkaban that I was afraid I was going to have to write Ryoma/Horio fic. I still might.

You so totally should! They would have a most amusing love.

Also, this is one of my very favorite scenes in the entire anime. I think I mentioned that in your last post, too.

There's just something about Inui/Tezuka that pushes my buttons big-time. I love them here together, Inui talking, Tezuka listening. No pressure on Tezuka beyond saying "yes" once in a while. I think you called them Old Man Pair. :) That seems about right.
